Daniel grew up around construction: his father started him in the trades at a young age, and his passion for building grew from there. He has worked on projects all over the country ranging from a half million square feet commercial project in Kansas to custom, residential homes in Florida. He is a visionary, natural businessman, construction enthusiast, and is incredibly personable, all things that make him a great boss, friend, and business owner. Daniel is the lifeblood of the company and plays an important role in every project, working relentlessly to make sure that everything runs smoothly from the field to the office. His goal is to make sure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are prioritized. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his family and friends, especially on a boat. Don’t be fooled, however, he never takes a break from solving problems, contemplating innovations in business or construction, and thinking of new ways to exemplify Nova’s core values.

Lauren has worked on the office side of the construction industry for 17 years. She is a rare Tennessee native who relocated to Nashville from Memphis in 2004. Daniel Brimer worked with her at another company and took note of her amazing work ethic. He brought her on in October of 2020 knowing she would be a valuable addition to the team. She is often the first to arrive at the office and the last to leave, working hard to manage the office side of Nova. Her job may be behind the scenes, but everything accomplished by the project managers, site crew, and other office staff is only possible because of her commitment to excellence. When she is not working to keep Nova Constructors’ finances on track, she enjoys spending time with her husband, watching her daughter play volleyball, traveling, and shopping.

Dan was born in India, the son of medical missionaries, and has lived in other places abroad as well as in the United States. He settled in middle Tennessee in 1973, graduating from the University of The South in Sewanee and beginning his construction career. Over the years, he has gained experience and knowledge in commercial and residential construction. His primary focus has always been to deliver the highest quality results, which is clearly seen through his past projects and professional relationships. For this reason, Daniel brought him on as a project manager and consultant in February of 2019. In his spare time, Dan enjoys playing music. His musical ability, knowledge, and experience are equally as impressive as their construction counterparts.

Brandon Edel grew up in South Dakota but has called Tennessee home since 2002. He has worked in construction for 12 years and is extremely passionate about each project he works on, always striving to create a beautiful home as well as a positive experience for each homeowner. When Brandon isn’t working on a project, he loves to go outdoors, spend time with his family, and make the best of every situation.
